2004 Polaris 600 Sportsman. I am looking for a 4X4 sportsman and I have come across a one owner 2004 600 with 437 hrs on it . The only owner said that the only thing he has had done to it is change the oil and put in a new battery . It is is very good shape according to the owner and nothing broken , worn out , missing etc .Sep 7, 2017 · I just bought a 2004 Sportsman 600 twin. I attempted to replace the starter solenoid because the machine would only start every 2-3 key turns. After putting the new solenoid in, the atv won't start at all and the solenoid isn't even clicking. I put the old solenoid back on and got the same result.
